Zeiss Ikon D Contax Film Camera with Biotar 1:2 f = 58mm Carl Zeiss Lens

Description: For sale is a clean CONTAX D camera with the famous Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 58mm F2 lens in M42 mount. The camera is in great condition for its age. No scratch or dents or dings on the body. Leatherette is tight with minimal wear. View finder and matt focusing screen is crystal clean. Tiny scuffs on the mirror (see the last photo). The lens is nice with a little internal dust. No fungus or scratch anywhere in the lens or viewfinder. The shutter is strong and accurate at all speed. I am sure you will enjoy playing with its unique shutter speed adjustment mechanisms like I do. I have had it for more than a year as a collection piece and had great fun playing with it. If you want to shot with it, the shutter curtain will need some DIY, as this line of CONTAX cameras is notorious of having pinholes develop on its curtain over time.
