This artwork is one whole natural fluorescent sodalite stone that is cut down the middle, with the two front faces polished. The outer shell is left completely natural. One very minor crack in this particular piece, extremely hard to see the crack even up close during daylight. In the dark under 365nm uv light you can see where the crack is. A very great majority of all fluorescent sodalite I cut open will have a crack or two.
