Description: I don't know what to say above the honor I feel being able to present this fine WWII militaria grouping to a proper new owner. It is a wonderful pair of original campaign maps being passed along from a Purple Heart awarded active duty soldier of the Second Armored Division. It is a humbling honor as the youngest (age 65) of a family of 8 and massive extended family that I am called on to find proper homes for historic memorabilia. Very happy to be able to offer these rare maps in such fine condition as well. So, I present the HELL ON WHEELS Second United States Armored Division campaign map for 1942 - 1944, as well as the XIX CORP IN ACTION Campaign Map published as LE TOMAHAWK Volume 2 Number 6 of the Western Front, Germany, October, 1944. A Special Edition from D-Day to Germany of the XIX CORPS CRACKS THE SIEGFRIED LINE. Despite the rare and historic significance of both of these maps it is the greatest honor to include photos of the multi- service personnel autographed Division Pamphlet of the SECOND ARMORED DIVISION including the 702nd Tank Destroyer Battalion and the 195th Anti-Aircraft Battalion. A tremendous recounting of their historic achievements and the knowledge that the back pages are full of 48 signatures, autographs and addresses of Division servicemen and women and other encountered in the field of operations some of whom left it all on the fields of battle. It provides the greatest provenance to know these came back state side in the hands of a division soldier. I have sent the autographed pamphlet along to a specialized collector who specifically does regiment pamphlets so this listing is for the 2 rare campaign maps.
