Description: This is an interesting lot because the presentation of the books at first glance would leave you thinking they were high grade. This lot came from a lot with big eat, which are long gone by the way, and this is the portion of the books that are only minor lot affected. Most of the run is newsstand. And it’s hard to call the grade, but I’d say maybe high mid grade, but not sure how a grader would assess this. Some did not get damage at all and if pressed could be high grade. Most of the chew happened at the bottom corner of the books, but as an act of transparency, I’ll give you a run down of each books damage below. None of it seems to be inside of the books. At first I thought it was chipping by then looked closer and it on some of the other books that were not included in the lot. This lot would be great for someone who likes high grade run filler, but is okay letting go of a small corner of bug chew. To be honest, most of the damage is on the bottom of the book, so if you are thumbing through your run, you could trick yourself into thinking it’s not even there. All are newly bagged and boarded and these will be shipped in a box. 237 - tiny bug chew in top right front cover and back needs a clean 248 - front has a few creases a small amount of chew and back has bug chew in bottom left of cover 249 - small amount of bug chew on top right and bottom front cover 250 - bug chew on top right front cover also bottom left corner has a spot 253 - tiny chew on top left and bottom left corner 254 - tiny bit of chew on bottom corner top front cover and outside - just a tad though - back has a crease and a tiny bit of chew in the top right 255 - no chew 256 - small chew on top front cover 257 - chew on bottom right front and back 258 - tiny chew on bottom right front 259 - tiny chew on the bottom right front and back and book doesn’t have a good wrap. 260 - chew on bottom front corner and back 261 - a little discolored on the bottom front and has a few small patches of chew. 262 - no chew 263 - 2 tiny spots of chew on the front 278 - chew on bottom front cover and back bottom cover 281 - 2 tiny spot of chews on the bottom front 299 - spot of chew on the back that goes into the book - very small area of damage 300 - no chew but cover has a line of discoloration from not being bagged or something. 318- no chew but midgrade and needs a clean press. Thinking this came from a different collection 319 - same as the last one 320 - same as the last one 323 - same as the last one
