I Rebuild this bike in 2020, the owner was too tall but got it anyways.THey recently traded it in for a similar, but taller schwinn world tourist. The new tires were put on in summer 2020, and are stated to have very few miles,and the tread is indeed very good. All functions smooth. Will include attatching nuts.The 3 speed changer is mounted on left side, and the rod that goes to cable is broken into two.IFYOU CALL AND ASK: i will include the Sturmey Archer and all associated cable/housing / shifter too!!! for free, but only if we speak!! COMPATIBILITY This wheel set , while meant for this 1970s city bike is a bit unusual in sizing.its 597mm diamter where rim meets tire is in between more common sizes of 559( common 26 in for many modern mtn bikes)590 ( 26 x 1-3/8) quite common in 60s-80s622 ( 700c) very popular from 1970s through now630(27 in) old road bike standard until about late 1980s The tires here are considered 597 - 37nominally 26 x 1-3/8 x 1-1/2 FLAWS Some minor cosmetic flaws exist , this is used, but not abused. Rims have some minor rust scars, but largely clean and clear original luster! Spokes a bit dull, but cleaned, and nipples oiled. sufficiently tight and balanced for old spokes.
