Description: these heavy cast white metal lily pad lamp bases were made by the Loevsky & Loevsky White metal casting company . their company was in New Jersey . and closed in the late 70s so these items are definitely vintage . the cast metal gives this base extra weight for a goose neck style occasional lamp , or desk lamp . also this model has the central hole tapped to accept 1/8 inch pipe threads . this brass tone lamp part also has a design in the casting of the Lily Pad to allow for cord to come up from under the base to allow for level placement on a table or shelf .
