I do not know if it works, I do not know if it holds gas - I do not have any to test - may need restoration, may need just gas.I was told this is a line called Laque De Chine - No idea if it is correct - that is for you to determine! The lid opens and closes as it should makes the correct "ching Sound', the little door for the flint pops open and closes normally - bottom screw unscews with ease.There are light marks from age and use - but no chips on the enamel and certainly has not been abused.
