Description: This is a wooden box of pastel colors. The box has dovetail joints and sturdy hinges and clasps. The top of the box is stamped “Rembrandt soft pastels for artists. Made by Royal Talens BV Holland”. The front of the box has a mark that looks like a label or sticker was removed. Other than that the box is in pristine condition. Inside are two removable trays of pastel crayons. There are 30 in each tray. All are full size except one light blue which is a partial crayon as shown in photo. The foam protective inserts are like new, soft and not brittle. The inside of the lid has some color transfer from the crayons. This is a very special set of pastels. They don’t make things like this any more.
