Description: An interesting piece here. I don't believe this is an original work by Wood, but some type of print or reproduction done on pressboard. The paint is in a thick layer and is raised slightly off the pressboard. I tried to contact the Robert Wood site to authenticate it but was unable to get an answer. There are brushstrokes seen but these might be added post-production to make it appear as though it's painted. Robert Wood is heavily reproduced and most people think they have original paintings because of his signature and the fake brush stroke technique. While this is likely not original, it is a rare version of this very cool painting - "Mountain Campers."
