Description: Vintage Retro Coinmaster Whites White's Metal Mineral Detector CM-4 CM4 4D 4/D Up for sale is a nice vintage metal detector. Has some paint wear on some of the edges, overall nice. I tested it and appears to work. Please know though that I'm not familiar with the operation of this metal detector. I set the one switch to the battery check positions and received a continuous tone... indicating good batteries. I then set the switch to "Operate". I then set the "Detector Mode" to normal. It gave a continuous tone until I adjusted the "Metal/Mineral" knob until it became quiet. I then scanned some metal objects and it appeared to work well. The only issue I see is one of the battery holders has bowed a bit, so it has a piece of tape to keep it snug so all the batteries make good contact.
