Description: This auction is for a Vintage Ocean Insurance sign. Here is a great all metal sign for the collection, that does not come around often. In the center of the sign there is the large graphic of a lighthouse beaming brightly with the light rays coming from each side of it. Below there is the wording, The ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation Limited, Founded 1871. On the bottom of the sign there is the wording, Casualty and Credit insurance, American Head Office, 53 John St., New York. Around the outside and around the graphic there is a flame mahogany wood grain look to the paint, making the piece appear as a framed art piece, and has a hanger on the back . The sign is nice condition for its age, there is some paint ware and scratches and bends, but as seen in the photos the sign is ready for display. I do have a white inventory sticker on the piece on the right side just above the bottom wording. It measures about 27 inches tall and 18 inches wide.
