Description: This is a vintage necklace and clip on earrings set by Miriam Haskell that is both gorgeous and very collectible. They were probably made in the 1950's or 1960's. As with other Miriam Haskell jewelry, the stones are most likely rhinestones/glass. The necklace is approximately 9" long, and its pendant is about 1 1/2" wide. The pendant has very intricate filigree metal work and a number of white, blue, red and green stones. There is a large green teardrop shaped stone at the bottom. On each side of the necklace there are three metal chains plus two metal chains with green stones. The clasp is also intricate and has red stones. On the back it is signed MIRIAM HASKELL enclosed in an oval shape - I understand this way of signing started appearing in the 1950's. The earrings measure approximately 1 1/2" long and 1" wide. They also have very intricate filigree metal work and white, blue, red and green stones. They both also have a large green teardrop shaped stone at the bottom. Each earring has MIRIAM HASKELL on the back of the clip. Both the necklace and the earrings are in excellent condition - I can find no missing stones or other imperfections. I have owned these since the 1980's and have kept them protected in storage most of the time.
