Vintage Marx Union Station Train Set - Tin Toy Windup VERY NICE w/Box!

Description: This is Marx Union Station tin litho wind up train set in the very elusive original, box! I could not find the year it was released, but based on all could put together from the box and tin litho graphics it appears to be from the 1940s. If anyone has more info, please let me know!The station and track is in very nice, near mint condition. The colors are all bright and the outstanding graphics are very cool depicting a busy Union Station complete with building, people, cars trees, etc.The wind up runs on a track around and through the station. The base is about 14"x 20" and the station measures approx. 6" x 13 1/2" x 3 1/2".The box for this set rarely survived because it was fragile nd not meant to last. Even though this box has had a fair amount of restoration on the end flaps, overall it is in pretty shape for its age and presents and displays well.A great addition to your vintage train, Union Station, tin litho or wind-up collection!I want all customers to be satisfied with their purchase.
