Description: Nice old pair of Hooded Stirrup covers....Tapaderos They have a number of silver colored spots on the outside surface, obviously handdone, as they do not quite match. They are an attractive addition to any old saddle, and offer great protection when riding in brushy country. Leather is good, has been conditioned ( which makes it shine in areas of the photos, but will all be absorbed by the time you receive them.) There are light scuffs as would be expected, they appear mostly on the side of the tap next to the horse. That side is plain, offering you a chance to use them as plain taps on your saddle. Taps measure 12.5 inches long at the longest point. They will tie on to your stirrups....I think one set of ties is missing.
