Description: This item is a really nice vintage walnut bowl, circa 1970's to 1980's. It is hand-carved from a single cross section of American Walnut and is signed "M. Heim" on the base. The bowl has a 9" diameter, with a 1/4" rim, so the inside diameter is 8" and it stands 2.5" tall. The outer rim has three concentric rings carved into it. The bowl is in good shape, with great darkening patina on both the inside and outside, no cracks or chips. The only signs of wear are a few small spots on the interior, as seen in the photos. This bowl has been cleaned and waxed to bring out the great cross grain patterning. It will make an excellent decorator piece.
