Vintage Gateway Solo 9100 (Intel Celeron @ 366 MHz, 64 MB RAM, Win98 SE)

Description: This auction is for a vintage Gateway Solo 9100 laptop. This laptop was tested to power on and boot into Windows 98 Second Edition. Per our security policy, all personal data and documents have been purged. The battery does hold a miniscule charge but only lasts for a few minutes before shutting off. The OEM AC adapter is included. COSMETIC WISE: The laptop is in pretty good condition. The lid has some small scratches near the Gateway logo but is clear overall. The bottom chassis has some scuffs and scratches near the information stickers. The I/O cover plastic is intact but fragile. The battery has a long white scratch on it. The HDD access panel is missing a small piece of plastic on the front of the laptop. The panel is screwed into place. There is a small crack near the power and charging LEDs. The palm rest and keyboard show signs of wear. PERFORMANCE WISE: The laptop performs pretty well for its age. The performance is pretty average and I didn't run into any issues during testing. Running any memory intensive programs may decrease performance. Please note that performance drops are to be expected with vintage hardware and software. NOTE: The internal CMOS battery is dead.
