Description: Wonderful set of 4 Encaustic painted canvas panels made from thick oil paint and beeswax. These paintings are unsigned but were made by a local artist who resided on Chicago's Southside. Each piece is in good condition with some wear including light scratches. Family of artist listed them as being made of rich oil paint and beeswax and named them Encaustic canvas panels. Each have vibrant colors throughout. 2 paintings measure approximately 6"6" and about 1" thick. 1 painting measures 6"6" but is 1.5" in thickness. The smaller one measures approximately 4"4" and about 1.5" in thickness. No paperwork included. Please see pictures for overall condition. Selling all 4 works as is. All sales are final.
