Description: This vintage table lamp features a unique blackamoor style design with a genie lamp shape made of chalkware plaster. It does not have a cord a new one would have to be threaded through the lamp to the light socket. ( which is easy enough to do with string or wire) The statue itself is 18” tall, with the shade bracket it is just under 30”. This is an earlier example of such lamps most likely from the mid 40s. Its does have some small chips and a large chip on the back, however, facing front there are few if any visible chips. The lamp is an original mid-century modern vintage piece from the 1940s.
