This week we have a nice selection of never-opened, new old stock of dollhouse miniatures! Most are vintage 1960s-80s or so- but still in the package, never opened, and like new! This lot contains lots of finer quality artisan and makers' pieces- the little green condiment bottles still on the sprue are by Chrysnbon; they are packaged with a very fine handmade glass bottle. There are several towel racks, a wonderful metal mailbox, a Louis XIV style white metal phone, wire Victorian coat hooks, and a fantastically tiny bottle of nail polish!! Pieces are artisan, Farrow, A-Dora-Bels, and others! We have seen an unfortunate, but increasingly common, tactic crop up: thin complaints, always accompanied by a request for a partial refund, saying that an item is 'not as described'. When buying something preowned, it's easy for a less than honest buyer to pick a flaw out of the air and attempt to secure a partial refund over imagined or exaggerated 'imperfections'. If someone is looking for a way to get money back, sure, one can always find something, anything at all, despite any seller's carefully written description. So if there is anyone out there who is even considering employing this tactic, please pass us by.
