Description: Lantern measures approximately 11 7/8 inches tall not including handle. Nice looking vintage Coleman single mantle propane lantern. Model 5122-700 Date code on bottom indicates it was made August of 1970. Lantern features a green painted tank and a hood that is light gray / off-white. This model of lantern originally used a small LP gas canister that are now obsolete and no longer readily available. Coleman collectors have found ways to make these models functional using third party or homemade adapters. Instructions can easily be found online. No such adapter is included with this lantern. We are choosing to sell this as a display piece with no guarantee of functionality. Surface wear, small areas of paint wear, and signs of prior usage as seen in pictures. Original decals show wear. Lantern has not been tested. It will require typical maintenance including fuel and mantle. Does not include any original packaging. Lantern’s glass globe and handle will be removed for shipping to prevent any damage to item. Lantern weighs 3 pounds by itself.
