Description: Item Description: Up for auction and from our personal collection is this fabulous, vintage, tin Christmas sparkler. Produced in Japan in the 1950's, sparkler is in near mint, working condition as seen in the photos. Just push up on the plunger and out Santa pops from the chimney as the windows sparkle with red and blue color. These old sparklers rarely work after all this time but this one performs beautifully! Cellophane windows are just perfect, colors are vibrant and uniform and there is barely any paint loss. You would be hard pressed to find this in better condition! Measures approximately 5 1/4" long with the facade measuring 2 5/8" by 2 3/8" excluding the chimney. Please view our photos carefully as they are part of the description. Any reflections, white spots or irregular looking shading patterns in the photos (amplified when using the enlarge feature) are due to glare from outdoor light.
