This exceptional example is spectacularly decorated with a hand painted design rendered in lavish gilt gold and raised enamels atop an exquisite Rouge Royale underglaze. The lavishly gilded nature-inspired design features an intricate spider web suspended from a fruiting branch which stylishly flows from the top rim. An offset flowering garden beneath perfectly balances the harmonious design. The opposing side of the vessel features a complimentary fruiting branch creating a pleasingly unified design. Delightfully intricate butterflies punctuate the design adding a whimsical playfulness. The pearl lustre interior adds superb depth to the form. The stylishly shaped handle, foot and rim are finished in lavish gilt gold perfectly completing the luxuriously elegant design. SIZE: This impressive pitcher jug stands approx 185mms tall, measures 175mms in length and 105mms in width. CONDITION: This stunning piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Both the pattern and gilt gold detailing remain rich and vibrant with no noticeable wear.
