Vintage Buck Creek Solingen Germany Country Music Congress Pocket Knife

Description: The knife was purchased as a collectible it is from a collection spanning the 1960's-1980's. It has been kept in a knife roll and not pocket carried or sharpened. It has the factory blade edges and firm snap. It snaps open with no blade play when provoked. There are no cracks or splitting in the scales and it is clean between the liners. The shield is a bit rare and a musical instrument instead of the regular oval or round medallion. The blades have the " BUCK CREEK logo on the tang with " Solingen Germany " on the pile side of the large Sheep's foot Blade. The main Sheep's Foot Blade is engraved " Country Music Hand Made " in black block letters. The small Pen blade also has " Oil The Joints " on the tang. Any scratches or imperfections should show in the photos. These have been imported by Millard Burns to Kentucky from Germany since 1968. From 1976 to the mid 1990's the BUCK CREEK " Indian Head and Owls Head "line of knives from there have had a profile, circular shield. I have read the shield on this one was earlier, but I have not been able to confirm this statement. Please study photos they are part of the description. When taking photos I noticed a rub on the Sheep's foot blades.. As with all used items it may need cleaning. This is the only one I have had go through my hands over the years with the instrument shield and " Country Music " etching. It is 3 9/16" long when closed.
