Description: Vintage 1950's Jif Peanut Butter Free Sample Jar. The metal lid says that Jif is "The new peanut butter"! Jif was introduced in 1956, and the lid has the logo that Jif used from 1956-1964. The jar was made by Hazel Atlas. Measures 2 3/4" x 2 3/8". Metal lid has light wear as would be expected. Colors are still bright and bold! Very nice collectible!
