Description: This 34 x 53 inch 48 Star Flag has some wear and discoloration areas on it . There is a number, S 94-6 on the grommet end but no other markings that I can see. I am not sure why it has a brown background unless it is from the fading of the blue dye which was common of the blue dyes used then. This came out of the estate of a collector in Charleston, SC.
