Description: This auction is for a GORGEOUS WW2 US ARMY officer's M1910 PISTOL BELT, plus the appropriate accessories, which I put together over the last 10-15 years with items, both original and reproduction. My intention was top build an officer's rig, to hold a Colt M1911A1 45 automatic pistol, the deal for which fell through last year, as the prices became somewhat cost prohibitive, so I decided that the time has come to pass it to another collector, who can appreciate its beauty and purpose. The ensemble consists of a beautiful REPRODUCTION M1910 US pistol belt, as made and sold by a company called "MAN THE LINE", an outfit which produces period correct gear for re-enactors and enthusiasts. It is unmarked, but is a VERY high quality khaki cotton web material with correct fittings, keepers and buckle, EQUAL TO or SUPERIOR to the original product. I used one of these repros, as the cost of an original belt in the condition I was looking for has grown exponentially over the years to the point that it was unaffordable in my budget. The ORIGINAL, NOS (NEW OLD STOCK), two-pocket, khaki web, magazine pouch I bought over 30 years ago, is in absolute MINT condition. It is an ORIGINAL piece, and was made at the famous MILLS canvas products factory in October 1918, as can be seen on the interior ink stamp, and is without ANY fading, stains, fraying, spots or damage of ANY kind, it even includes a small paper label inside, offering tips as to how to prevent any rust or water damage to the magazines carried therein. The smaller first aid pouch, mounted at the small of the back is, again, a reproduction made by MAN THE LINE, as is the aluminum canteen (dated 1917), cap, chain, canteen cup AND canvas cover, the latter being, again, unmarked. Also included, a beautiful, correct, hand-worked, russet leather, REPRODUCTION US M1916 flap holster, for the US M1911/1911A1 automatic pistol, made by skilled craftsmen in Italy last year, and being one of THE most period accurate holsters available today. It is marked on the back "S EM S 1943", and the stunning leather, copper rivets and stitching are of absolute TOP-NOTCH quality, and the workmanship is IMPECCABLE. I inserted my Springfield Armory M1911A1 once or twice, and beyond that, it is NEW as the day it left the workshop. ALSO included is an ORIGINAL US MILLS, KHAKI first aid pouch, dated April 1918, and in PERFECT condition even after 106 years and, last but not least, is an ORIGINAL, US ISSUE, KHAKI, woven cotton lanyard, to secure the pistol to the belt or the person, which is likewise in PERFECT, NOS, UNISSUED & UNUSED condition, and shows a patent date of FEB 20, 1917. PLEASE, STUDY THE PHOTOGRAPHS, as there are of the ONLY, EXACT ensemble you'd be bidding on, and ASK ANY & ALL questions BEFORE placing a bid. NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ON THIS ITEM. I SHIP ONLY TO US EBAY VARIFIED ADDRESSES!
