Description: For sale is a Universal Geneve cal. 1200 with the original dial and hands. In decent overall condition, the dial is a pearl/beige color with a sunburst finish, gold colored applied indexes and baton hands. Looking at the style and the lack of the minute tracks, I imagine this was in a dress watch, most probably 14k or 18k gold. Diameter: 31.6mm Please note that measurements are done to the best of my abilities with a caliper, so take some margin of error into consideration. ConditionThe movement looks in decent condition and it's working. I imagine it has been sitting for years in a parts bin before I acquired it, so a basic service will definitely help it perform. However, I could wind it by directly moving the winding wheel. It started a bit slow, most probably because of the dried up oils, but it caught up and it kept running for half a day by just a couple of turns of the winding wheel. The dial has some imperfections and scratches, but to the naked eye it looks pretty good considering the age. The indexes and hands are clean, with only minor discolorations. Printing is sharp and intact. Timegrapher ResultsAll the results measured with a Weishi 1000, on a full wind and the lift angle set to 52 degrees. Found it hard to set the watch in place on the timegrapher without a case, so the measurements were done for only 20-30 seconds.
