Description: The Stranglers – Black And White - Vinyl LP 1978 - Lyric Inner Sleeve - Play Tested VG+ to EX Please bear in mind that It is highly unlikely a vinyl record from the 60s/70s/80s will be completely noise free. The Vinyl, now more than 45 years old, has a couple of very light marks, a couple of tiny hairlines and 1 particularly large one on Side 2 (Picture 7) The Album was fully play tested and there were NO skips, sticking or jumping. Surface noise was present in between some tracks affecting some short run-ins and fades. As for the tracks directly affected by the hairline on side 2 they are:B3 - 4 soft pops on the run-in and the rest of the track was ExcellentB4 - 2o seconds or so noise on the run-in and then odd soft pops but overall it was at least VG+B5 - 5 soft pops on run-in and similar on the fade. Overall it played really well at least VG+. None of the surface noise/pops on the Album were really very long or indeed heavy, and it did not overpower the music in my view. I believe the playback was to at least a VG+ standard edging closer to Excellent. The Sleeve is in great shape. NO rips, Splits or Tears and only minimal rubbing to the edges. The spine is clean and readable. The matte sleeve has some slight discoloration from storage and usage. Again for its age its in really good condition, as is the cardboard inner sleeve.
