Spine with four gilt decorated bands, gilt title to fancy gilt bordered brown leather to second compartment, gilt vol# to centered gilt wreath in third compartment, gilt subtitles (play names) to fancy gilt bordered fourth compartment, centered blindstamp harp device to other compartment, gilt year at foot of spine, heavy fancy gilt rule to head and foot of spine. All edges marbled, marbled endpapers. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed, with minor loss. Both boards with heavy craquelature, reminiscent of alligator hide, with chipping.
