This limited edition, hand numbered plate is trimmed in gold, in excellent condition and it comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity, Descriptive Leaflet and Box. The box shows some wear, but it's unusual to find this plate with both pieces of paperwork and the box. Diameter is approximately 7 3/4-inches. The artist's note on the back of the plate says: "Lavender's blue, diddle diddle" -- So goes the song; All round her bush, diddle diddle, Butterflies throng: (They love her so well, diddle diddle, So do the bees;) While she herself, diddle diddle, Sways in the breeze! As you can see in the photos, the colors are soft and lovely and the attention to detail is nicely done making this plate a great gift choice or a nice addition for a collector.
