Frontispiece shows a glossy black and white photograph of 'Commander Byrd in his Antarctic Costume.’ The book includes 25 articles written by various authors including Charles Lindbergh, Floyd Bennett and Eddie Rickenbacker, with photo illustrations. The black & white pictorial endpapers depict airplanes flying over the countryside. Some light rubbing of edges with boards exposed and at corners. Binding shows some wear and separation of hinge to back board. Text block clear, square and solid. No dust jacket. Stored in protective clear-plastic book cover.
