Description: This listing is for a new, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, gate sign. The dimensions are 20"x10" and it weighs a hefty 4 1/2 pounds. I'm pretty sure this is considered an enamel sign. It's probably made of heavy gauge steel, which is coated with glossy enamel, to keep it from rusting. This is a very heavy sign, unlike the thin metal reproduction signs for sale. It is 2.2 mm thick. This is NOT a reproduction and was acquired from the TSCRA, recently. The Real McCoy. This sign may last forever. The sign has never been used and the support grommets are a shinny brass color, as you can see in the pictures. The sign has a few manufacturing imperfections which I tried to show with the pointer. Most are on the back of the sign. Most of the small imperfections are covered up by a top coat of enamel, so isn't a big deal and I consider them minor - I bet every sign comes with some type of minor flaws like this one has. It's not completely flat (but almost is), as you may be able to see in the picture - heavy gauge steel like this is probably hard to get completely flat. A great sign to own and new signs are difficult to obtain. Use it for indoor use or outdoor use - either way it's a great looking sign and displays a top notch organization.
