Description: Here's a carefully restored Bedrock 605 1/2 Type 6 Jack plane circa 1912 - 1921. Production of this extra wide jack plane stopped much earlier than for the 605 which makes it quite rare. The Bedrock planes are built more solidly than Stanley’s other bench plane. Please note the cracked front knob (pictured), it is replaceable or repairable, I just haven't had time. The iron (it's not the original) will be cleaned up and sharpened on float glass using a veritas mkii honing jig to the factory spec angle, ready to use or add a micro bevel. Renaissance wax will be applied to bare steel surfaces to reduce risk of corrosion so it isn't an issue in transit. A real piece of history to display or use. International postage available.
