Description: SITTING CLOWN Ceramic Cookie Jar Vintage Collectible Treasure Craft 1970-80s USA. Condition is "Used" 13' tall x 8.5" wide Great condition No major chips or cracks... I do see a couple things of note: on underneath side of the hat just below the A of USA appears to be possibly a chip although it may have been from the factory, and I do see a little bit of crazing along that same area underneath the lid and also around the upper top rim. The last several photos show these questionable areas. Hand-painted in Compton, Southern California USA. Because all jars are Hand-painted, you will see areas where paint might be but doesn't belong, under the glaze. Anything under the glaze is not considered a defect but is a uniqueness to your jar. We had a cookie jar store and we were authorized Treasure Craft dealers in the 1980s through 2000s. I believe this jar is older than that since we did not buy it direct from Treasure Craft. It was originally purchased to add to our own antique cookie jar collection. It will be packaged securely to arrive at your location in great shape.
