It is very difficult to find a complete set of Blackwood Brothers signatures from the classic era featuring the iconic bass singer J.D. Sumner, who later went on to work with Elvis Presley, but here they are - the same lineup Elvis himself knew and loved. The record itself is in G to VG condition, but the signatures (still bold and vibrant) are: James Blackwood (lead), Wally Varner (piano), J.D. Sumner (bass), Cecil Blackwood (baritone) and Bill Shaw (tenor). An incredible find for any collection of Elvis Presley memorabilia or Southern Gospel music.
