Description: Francisan 1950s Atomic Starburst 8" Salad Plates (2) + 6" Saucer MCM For sale is a set of three Starburst pattern dinnerware pieces: 2 Salad Plates and 1 Saucer. Made by Franciscan in 1954 as part of their "Modern Americana" dinnerware promotion. A classic Mid-Century Modern space-age design. The 8" salad plates are in excellent condition, free of cracks, chips or scratches, the 6" Saucer is also free of cracks, chips or scratches however there is an imperfection in the glaze in the middle causing a darker spot (see close up photo).
