Description: Up for this auction is another truly rare item. It is a authentic original vintage 1960 Christmas card/calendar that was handled and owned by Saint Padre Pio. This large color display which is the only one we have is extremely special as it has a image of the infant Jesus on it in vivid colors. on it. Also, we were told when It became their Christmas time he would put it on the nightstand next to Padre pio's bed in his room which was cell number one . This extraordinary item was given to Joe Peterson, the American secretary and American translator for St. Padre pio. He was a very dear friend to Padre and Father Alessio, care taker and friend of Padre Pio. He also became close friends with my mom when he came to United States and he stayed at our home on many occasions. This remarkable item was used for veneration to help promote the cause for Padre Pio back in the late 1970's and early 1980's. It is in fantastic condition as only worshipers would touch it for devotional purposes as it was behind glass in a framed museum display until we just took it out. We have decided to take it out and to share with others in these days of trials and turmoil. So we have decided to offer it to the public for future devotion and adoration. He became great friends with my mom and would write to her many times and send her these items for devotion. Amazing. It is time now to share it with other devoted people .
