Description: Retro Romance! Elegant late 1950s / early 1960s vintage wedding dress made by the Bianchi label of an ivory/champagne coloured silk with a delicate beaded design featuring embroidered flowers. The short sleeved gown features a fitted bodice with a shallow scoop neckline, nipped waist with rear half belt complete with removable bow and a slim A-line cut slim with beautiful pleat detail below the waist and a floorlength hem. The dress closes at the back with looped fabric covered buttons. The dress has an interior lining/stiffing layer for shaping. MEASUREMENTS: No size labels ... bust measures 34 inches (and therefore fits a size 32 bust or smaller best), the waist measures 26 inches and the hips measure 48 inches. The dress is 57.5 inches in length. Please remember to leave room for you and that there is no stretch in the fabric. CONDITION: Very slight wear ...the dress has been in storage for decades and although clean (I did not find any rips, stains or other flaws), it is in need of a good pressing / ironing (which would have to be done carefully because of the beading).
