Description: Beautiful Rodania Firenza, vintage chrome/stainless steel screwback water resistant type case, driven by a clean AS/ST 1950/51 17 jewel manual wind movement, featuring a fantastic black military type dial. 988 Every effort has been made to show all possible detail with photographs. All photos are of actual watch in auction. MOVEMENT: Clean AS/ST 1950/51 17 jewel manual wind movement is signed: "AS/ST 1950/51, seventeen 17 jewels, Swiss." Movement is clean, runs well, however has not been bench tested for precise accuracy or recently serviced. CASE: Round chrome and stainless steel, screwback, water resistant type case shows some tool marks on two lugs (see photos) and is in otherwise in excellent condition. Watch measures 31.78 mm across without crown, 39.23 mm lug tip to tip, and 16 mm between lugs. Case back is signed: "stainless steel back, anti-magnetic, incabloc, water resistant." Crystal is clean and clear. DIAL: Fantastic black military type dial features luminescent Arabic numbers, outer minute/seconds chapter, lumed stick hour and minute hands, red sweep second hand. Dial is signed: "Rodania, Firenza, 17 Jewels, Incabloc, T Swiss Made T". BAND: Fitted with black textured, stitched, band as shown.
