Description: Rocky Mountain Views On the Rio Grande< The Scenic Line of the World. This is one of several railroad view books we recently acquired, books with paste-down color prints of views from the railroad that were sold mainly to railroad passenger in the early 20th Century. This one was published for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad by the Smith-Brooks Printing Company for the Interstate Company in Denver, CO. 22 color prints (one 2 page) with descriptions and an additional print on the cover. This string-bound book is in fair condition. Text and prints are complete, pages of text are lightly tanned, cover page has penciled information, prints pasted at the top to black construction paper are in very good condition, and the front cover (also construction paper) has moisture damage which is not evident inside the book.
