This antique lamp has been polished to bring back its original shine, freshly rewired, the sockets cleaned and tested, and it is working well. It is very well made with solid brass, a cast iron base and stunning swirled glass pieces. Heavy and sturdy, it weighs 8 1/3 pounds. The brass Benjamin pull chain sockets are working great and have the ability to adjust their angle. The finial is in two pieces so that you can choose to either use it as it is, or just use the top short ball finial, or use the taller piece as a riser for your lamp shade if it needs to hang higher over the sockets. The lamp uses 2 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like as they use low wattage for bright light (bulbs not included).
