Description: Repousse Cased Shaving Brush Foster Bailey Sterling Silver 1890 Mono F Foster & Bailey sterling silver cased convertible shaving brush, decorated with repousse scroll patterns and acanthus leaves. On the side, there is an engraved period script monogram "F". Marked 93. c. 1890. This incredible piece is 7/8" in diameter, 2 7/8" long and weighs (without the brush itself) 18 grams. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
