Rare Vintage Psychedelic Motion Lamp Op Art Retro by VISUAL EFFECTS 60's

Description: Groovy Psychedelic motion lamp from Visual Effects circa 1960. Black and white undulating op art design swirls by as the heat from the bulb turns the cylinder. Quite mesmerizing.... Three metal/thick wire legs support circle for cylinder to rest upon. Size: 12.5" tall by 6" across top and 6.5" between legs. Condition: I've sold many a motion lamp and have yet to find one in perfect condition. This one is very good overall. There are no big holes or melts marks. The only crack or tear I could find is at the base of the cylinder and is pictured. There is the typical wear to the paint on the inner cylinders. I few blotches of paint loss on inner cylinder and the outer one has mostly light scratches. The top cardboard circle on the outer cylinder is in place but shows dirt and a crease line on one side. The underside of the circle shows old water stains so it may have gotten wet once. It is not warped. Cylinders turn freely and I had it running for quite awhile. If you are familiar with motion lamps, you know they have to be on a completely level surface to turn properly. This one turned even when it was a bit off kilter from sitting on an uneven surface, but I stuck a packet under one leg and it spun much better. If it is truly off kilter, you might try bending one leg a bit. I did not want to go that route for fear of damage. I live in an old crooked house so it might not be an issue.
