Description: This is a Rare, Vintage Pewter Duck Trinket Box that was Made in Portugal. It features a lovely aged patina, especially when seen in contrast to the very shiny inside, as you can see in the photos. It is made of pewter or some other non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metal. It is rather large & heavy, measuring approx. 9” long x 5” wide x 6 1/2” tall, weighing in at a hefty approx. 3.10 pounds. I have not seen another example of this exact piece anywhere on the internet. The bottom is marked “Fecit VCM, Made In Portugal” and there is a maker’s mark present. The original four bottom felts are present. This vintage pewter duck box would make an awesome addition to any home’s decor or collection, and would make a great gift, too! It would also make an interesting & decorative conversation piece. The pictures above show the condition of the actual item you will receive, as I don't use stock photography.
