It was developed in the 1980s by Prof. Peter MacFarlane, of the University of Glasgow, who has been involved in computerized ECG interpretation since its inception in the 1960s. The patient lead connector has been repaired from a crack and it is a good repair. It powers on without incident and passes self tests. It illuminates to the lead reading screen. I used the manual to retrieve a prior ECG to Preview, Print or Send and it printed perfectly. The on-screen menus are easy to follow and what lingo you cannot understand it breaks the procedures down into steps easy enough to follow. Everything appears to be in order. Device is functioning properly. Cart rolls smoothly and the wheels lock and unlock perfectly. It is powered and it is doing what it should. The barcode scanner and wifi have not been tested by me but was working when pulled from the physician's office.
