Specially edited from the source tapes by Malcolm Tent (that's me) to give you the ultimate in analog listening pleasure. I recorded Profanatica in concert on a number of occasions between 1991 and 1993. Years later, Paul Ledney (leader of Profanatica) asked if I would supply the tapes to the Necroscope label for release on cd. The finished cd contained all of the tapes I supplied in raw, unedited form. For the current vinyl reissue, I selected the best recordings and strongest performances from the mastered tapes and created an album's worth of pure black metal sonic attack. Still raw, still real, but now distilled to the very essence of early live Profanatica.
