Description: This listing is for both books together. They are both very old, antiquarian books, in rough condition. The dictionary looks like something gnawed on the first batch of pages, and has a lot of writing inside it. The binding is not bad, but is loose in the front. The religious tract has a very rough cover. Inside, there is some writing, moisture marks (on the front few pages) and age spots throughout. The main pages themselves are clean, very legible, nice. Someone put tape on the outside bottom of the cover, probably told it together. I’ve left this intact so as not to make anything worse. “Precept Upon Precept or A Third Series of the Earliest Religious Instruction the Infant Mind Is Capable of Receiving, With Verses Illustrative of the Subject….” The inscription on this one indicates that it was presented to the recipient in 1874. I can find no other date information inside to tell you how old this copy is. Webster dictionary for the best pocket indicates ©️ 1893 and 1894. As with all of my vintage items, this lot is being sold AS IS, no returns. If you have any questions, please ask me prior to purchasing. I am happy to combine shipping, but please DO NOT pay until I send you a combined invoice. This way you get the best shipping price. Shipped using recycled materials.
