Description: Up for auction are parts to the Lionel Rocket Launching Pad No. 175 - the premier "Space Age" accessory that Lionel produced from 1958 until 1960. Something every boy dreamed of owning. I dusted and cleaned it up carefully, but some of the unpainted metal shows some rust. The base shows age and wear, but can be repainted. Look carefully at the photos. The magnet on the end of the crane picks up the rocket and the cranks still turn and can maneuver it around... someone just needs to bring it back to life with some electricity and fire that sucker across the room. It currently is not operable and has not been tested. I will package it all up very carefully for shipping. Feel free to contact me with questions or if you'd like to see more photos.
