Description: This is beautiful pair of German hand painted porcelain plaques with two cherubs. They are mounted in their original 19th century gilded frames which retain their original bright gold gilding, and berry and leaf three dimensional corners. The porcelain plaques measure 7 1/2” by 5 5/8”, and the frames measure 17” by 15 1/4” by 3” deep. The porcelain plaques are in perfect condition, with the mark “K 1” incised on the back of each. One retains the original retailers label on the back. The frames are in excellent condition with very minor losses and wear to gold. These are exceptional pieces. You will be very pleased.
