Description: Beautiful handpainted & Antique / Old OVAL SERVING DISH. Produced by Bing & Grondahl ( now Royal Copenhagen ) in the Classic and Elegant EMPIRE design. The Dish is in fine condition with no chips, cracks or repair. Any white spots are fom the camera flash. There is many scratches to the base, and therefore I can not tell if there is an ETCH through the 3-Tower logo or not. I tend to think no ETCH, but can not guarantee this is a Factory First production - it can be Factory Second. According to the 3-Tower logo date mark, this Dish was produced between 1915 - 1948. Signs of use are to be expected at plates this age. All the EMPIRE items were handpainted, and therefore the decor is not excatly alike. Lenght is app 24,5 cm = app 9 2/3". Width at the widest is app 16,5 cm = app 6 1/2". Weight is app 480 Gram.
